Precision is our strength

History
Th. Zürrer & Cie was founded in 1916. Today it is a family controlled stock company situated at Stallikon-Zürich. Initially zooming in on the production of electric toy locomotives, motors and transformers, one specialized in the forties of the last century in construction and production of worm gears and motors. Up to now the company has proved to be a leading producer of worm gears with low backlash.

Precision - our strength
In addition to worm gears, spur-bevel gears and planetary gears AC/DC motors and servomotors form part of our product line-up. A specialty are high precision gears with low backlash. Th. Zürrer AG offers a versatile range of standard products with short delivery times. We are also renowned for developing customer specific solutions. Efficient logistics guarantee short delivery times even for customized gears.

Quality
Quality is omnipresent in the whole company. Managers and employees live this principle in an active way starting with the customer enquiry via construction, fabrication and distribution and ending with the after sales service. In 1994 the quality management system was introduced and in 2005 Th. Zürrer AG was certified for the first time according ISO 9001:2000.

Globalization
As a competent and worldwide operating partner for all transmission problems Th. Zürrer AG distributes its products by more than 20 country representatives. Our customers are coming from almost every field as for instance: machine tools, textile machines, automatic assembly machines, apparatus engineering, test devices, door drives, servo drives, packaging and printing, transporting equipment, medical and safety technique. The esteem of our motorgears and the long–term satisfaction of our clients are gained by the quality of our products, the short delivery times and excellence in after sales service.
