Motive Motors And Gearboxes

'Stadio'

The STADIO construction is modular and therefore it can be supplied as a separate unit to be mounted on any type of fitted geared motor (PAM).

It is not requested any part pre-mounting on the motor shaft.

STADIO is supplied by Motive with synthetic oil suitable for the whole lifetime. No maintenance requested.

Like all connectable gearboxes and motors manufactured by Motive, the whole STADIO range can be mounted in any position with no need of specifications in the order.

The efficiency at rated speed is 98%. The starting efficiency is always less than the efficiency at rated speed.

The pre-stage unit cannot be used by itself, but only coupled with another reduction unit.

A powder paint coat cancels the negative effects of the aluminium porosity and protects the housing from oxidation.

In order to increase silence, efficiency and duration, gears in case hardened,(HRC59-63) tempered steel 20CrMnTi (UNI7846) accurately ground on the involute.

Vario Speed reducer

VARIO is based on an epicyclic transmission at variable ratios.

The motor rotates the inner solar rings 10 (spliced on the motor shaft) and 11, that, pressed by the belleville washers 12, transmit the rotation to the satellite cone disks 7.

These satellites are in contact with the outer fixed external ring 9 and the external mobile ring 6, and impart rotation to the planet carrier 8 (integral with the output shaft) to which they are connected through the friction bearing planet disk 3.

Rotating the control knob, the mobile ring 6 rotates and operates an axial shifting; this movement is caused by the action of the ball rings 5 on the opposite orbits rings (4 and 6); this shifting movement operates on the conic sides of the planets which move radially inside the 10 and 11 solar rings, overcoming the springs 12 reaction.

In this way, the variation of the contact position on the planets sides determines the planet supports speed variation, and as a consequence that of the output shaft speed too.

Robus Gearbox

1. first 4 digits describe the ROBUS size
RB40 = ROBUS 40
RB50 = ROBUS 50
etc

2. then 1 digit tell the nr of stages
2 = 2 stages
3 = 3 stages

3. then 3 digits are the rated ratio
020 = i:20
120 = i:120
etc

4. then 3 digits for the mounting type

FSW = base type SW
FBF = base type BF
FMS = base type MS

140 = output flange 63B5 KP=140
160 = output flange 71B5 KP=160
200 = output flange 80/90B5 KP=200
250 = output flange 100/112B5 KP=250
300 = output flange 132B5 KP=300
350 = output flange 160/180 KP=350
450 = output flange 200 KP=450

UNV = without foot or output flange

5. then 3 digits for the input flange
